How to care for your Lilies of the Valley garments:

Thank you for ordering Lilies of the Valley, high quality, certified couture garments.

My craftsmanship is my trademark – I work 4-5 hours on each sundress. The seams are covered with beige silk ribbons on the inside. This garment, like everything I make, will withstand seasons of run and play – guaranteed. I take a special pride in making sure that the dress is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. True couture quality, true luxury – beautiful and made to last.

Please refer to the following recommendations to assure that your Lilies of the Valley designs will serve you for many seasons to come.

Japanese Cotton Bandannas Baby Sun Dress:

Hand wash or machine gentle.

Instead of squeezing the water out – try to roll your garment to get the rinse water out, then shake the water out – that will straighten the garment and save you time on ironing.

Hang to dry. Use hangers where applicable. This way we can save some energy and help the environment; in addition, dryers shorten the life of the garments.

Now, ironing. 100% cotton can be ironed using the hottest iron setting. Use steam. The sundress’ satin ribbons are 100% natural – you may iron them with the same hot iron as the dress itself.

Fleece Jackets:

Hand wash or machine gentle. The rule of thumb – treat your fleece garment just as you were to treat the woolen items.

Rinse and roll tight to get the water out, don’t squeeze. Lay out for 30 minutes to let the extra water to run out. Once the garment is no longer heavy and soggy with water – hang it on  quality hangers (that is with broad shoulders). It will dry very fast. No ironing needed. If by some reason you want to iron your garment – try first just wetting the crinkled area in a shower – most likely it will straighten out after drying.

You may use hot iron in STEAM mode – iron on the LEFT side.

Pre-Crinkled Fabrics (like in Rococo Coats):

Congratulation, you have purchased a Victorian Renaissance Gothic Baroque Rococo Coat or a Renaissance Rococo Jacket Pure Cotton Percale
But how to care for those pre-crinkled fabrics? No worries and absolutely NO NEED for costly DRY CLEANERS! Wash your garment by hand in a sink or basin, or, if you prefer, do a delicate cycle machine wash. Do not tumble dry. After washing – SHAKE out your garment vigorously to get this extra water out. Go ahead and use very hot, steam-iron on all cotton non-crinkled parts. The crinkled ruffles will not need ironing – they will regain their shape by themselves once dry.

If you need to iron crinkled fabric do it by passing your iron in steam regime OVER your crinkled fabric. Do not press with your steam-iron – just HOVER.
